Carried out and supervised animal experiments in the field of the central nervous system, hypoxic states, learning and memory. Developed some new models in the research of cognitive enhancers or anti-dementia drugs.

Beres Export-Import Co. Ltd. 1990-1991
Position: manager of pharmacological research
Responsible for planning and supervising pharmacological, toxicological experiments, as well as human clinical trials.

U.S.-Hungarian S&T Joint Fund Secretariat 1991-present
Position: program manager
The Joint Fund has been established to promote collaborative S&T research between Hungarian and American scientists. Being the leader of the Secretariat run jointly by the two governments, her job has been to manage the administration of submitted proposals, contact Hungarian and U.S. technical agencies, organize meetings for the Joint Board, and execute the Board’s decisions.

Hungarian Science and Technology Foundation 1994-present
Position: director/CEO
The Foundation is a non-profit institution set up in 1994 to promote international scientific and technological relations. It is involved in the management of Hungary’s international bilateral S&T projects and fellowship grants (e.g. the NATO Science Fellowship Programme), and serves as one of the EU FP5 liaison offices in Hungary. Her job is to lead the office of the Foundation, prepare and organize the meetings of the Board and execute its decisions. She takes active part in project management, the advisory activity of the Foundation and in its running EU FP5 projects.
