Consultation on Horizon 2020 Science with and for Society Work Programme 2016-2017 - 01/08/2014

We are pleased to inform you that we have just launched an open public consultation on the potential priorities for the Horizon 2020 'Science with and for Society' work programme of Horizon 2020 covering the period 2016-2017.

The aim of this consultation is to obtain views and contributions from a broad constituency. The contributions received will complement the opinion provided by an External Advisory Group of high level experts set up by the Commission according to Regulation (EU) No 1291/2013 establishing Horizon 2020.

STEM Educator Academy - 30/07/2014


2014 STEM Educator Academy – a joint conference of Intel and European Schoolnet, organized in partnership with European Union Contest for Young Scientists, Warsaw University and the Copernicus Science Centre. Warsaw, 21-23/24 September 2014.
The Educator Academy concept brings together most dedicated educators and government officials from around the world to improve science education and identify ways to boost students’ interest in STEM careers. Drawing together leading figures from Teacher Professional Development, STEM policies (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and the Academia, the conference is an opportunity to share best practices and to explore proven, innovative methods of engaging students in pursuing scientific careers.

Policy Brief: Putting the Science into Regionalization - 17/06/2014

A policy brief, based on the discussions held at the GAP2 workshop 'Putting the Science into Regionalization: Participatory Approaches in the New, Regionlized CFP', has now been authored by GAP2 scientists Dr. Steven Mackinson and Dr. Martin Pastoors.
