In their groundbreaking study, a European team of researchers evaluated embryonic stem cells grown in a pure undifferentiated state. The study, presented in the journal Cell, was supported in part by four EU-funded projects: HEROIC, PLURISYS, EUROSYSTEM and ATLAS.]]></description>
