First PAGES Summer Courses in Proteome Analysis
(Proteome Analysis Group in Europe - Saccharomyces cerevissiae)

Information last updated on 10.03.2000

Theoretical course : 21-23 May 2000 Odense, DK
Practical course : 25-31 May 2000 Odense, DK

Further information:

The courses will cover all aspects of proteome analysis right from various types of sample preparation, through cell fractionation, 2D gel electrophoresis (both narrow and broad range), analysis of membrane proteins, protein visualisation, image capture and analysis, mass spectrometry (MALDI and electrospray MS), to bioinformatics and data interpretation.

The courses are aimed both for academic and industrial participants, i.e. persons wishing to use the technologies at the research level or in a high throughput environment. Our experience from the seminar tours has also shown that there is a high need for courses on two very different levels (as an introduction to the technologies and for persons with experience but who wish to improve their expertise) and that is why that many teachers are available during the courses.

The theoretical course costs Euro 575 and the fee for both courses is Euro 2560.

Details are available from the web site: http://www.sdu.dk/nat/CPA/PAGES/course2000.htm
