You can contact specific helpdesks for ethical issues, intellectual property rights (IPR) and standardisation or get advice and networking opportunities from the IGLO group of R&D liaison offices.

The Ethics Helpdesk (select subject 13. Ethics in the enquiry form) provides information on ethical issues and offers consultation on the ethical aspects of EU-funded research and innovation projects. The helpdesk assists scientists to meet the EU and international ethical standards as outlined in the Ethics section of the H2020 Online Manual. Ethical advice is offered on the basis of the relevant legal documents.

The service enables scientists to get advice from the Ethics Review Sector of DG Research and Innovation and also by experts in the respective ethics field.

Through its Helpline, the European IPR Helpdesk provides assistance on Intellectual Property (IP) issues to current and potential beneficiaries of EU-funded research and innovation projects.

With the aim to raise awareness of the importance of good management of the IP assets of EU-funded projects, the European IPR Helpdesk conducts various awareness actions and provides training on IP rights and management issues throughout the EU

You can benefit from the informative website as well as the Newsletter and Bulletin services that provide information of the latest IP developments.

In addition, the European IPR Helpdesk provides support on IP matters to EU SMEs, including micro-enterprises in the process of negotiating or concluding trans-national partnership agreements, especially through the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).

IGLO is an informal association of Brussels-based non-profit R&D Liaison Offices. The aim of IGLO is to facilitate and enhance the interaction, information exchange and co-operation between Members of IGLO, their national research systems and the European institutions on issues related to EU R&D, in particular, the Framework Programmes.
