CALL: WIDENING FELLOWSHIPS
Call identifier: H2020-WF-2018-2020 Publication date: 27 October 2017
Call summary and aims
The goal of the Individual Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of experienced researchers, wishing to diversify their individual competence in terms of skill acquisition through advanced training, international and intersectoral mobility. Widening fellowships, in particular, provide specific support to researchers to undertake their fellowship in a widening country. This will help spread excellence and close the still apparent research and innovation gap within Europe.

It is not possible to directly submit a proposal under this call. Instead please submit your proposal under the 2018 call for Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions Individual Fellowships (MSCA-IF), for which the submission session is now open.
Applications for the European Fellowships under the MSCA-IF call, where the host organisation is located in an eligible widening country, will be automatically resubmitted to the Widening Fellowships call in case the proposal fails to reach an adequate place in the ranking to be funded in the MSCA-IF call.
Eligible applicants are asked in section 5 of the proposal submission form (Call Specific Questions) whether or not they wish to be considered for the funding opportunity under the Widening Fellowships.
