Managing an Adjustment
If a beneficiary has made errors in the Form C in a previous period he can make an adjustment . To create an adjustment, the beneficiary must do the following:
- Open the relevant project in NEF.
- Click the Add an adjustment link in the Costs Summary page
- Enter adjustments in the Costs and Other tabs, as required.
- Sign the adjustment electronically in the Signature tab, then save changes and finalize.

Step by Step Description
To manage an adjustment, the participant must do the following:
Log in to the Participant Portal with your user name and password.
Click the My projects tab.
Click the Periodic Reporting link for relevant project. The NEF application will open displaying a list of all beneficiaries associated with that project.
Click the Add an adjustment link in the Costs Summary page.
Make the required modifications in the Costs tab and then, in the Other tab, as required.
Open the Signature tab, and electronically sign the adjustment by entering your name in the Name of the person(s) field.
Click the Save changes button, and then the Finalize button.
