Annex I management in NEF: basic concepts
All coordinators and partners involved in negotiations for who the Annex I management is enabled.
NEF, the IT tool which sustains the management of negotiation for the FP7 Research Framework Program now manages the generation of the Description of Work (DOW) of the Grant Agreement. Its management consists of:
- A set of forms where beneficiaries can enter information and workload for Work Packages, Deliverables, Reviews, etc., which will be the basis of the generation of the first part of the Description of Work, defined as Part A, or Workplan Tables.
- The ability to upload a free-text part, defined as Part B, or narrative part.
NEF will then collate this information in one single document which will be the official Description of Work used by the Commission. The final document is basically a concatenation of Part A and Part B of the Description of Work. See below the final structure of the Technical Annex.
Practically speaking, on the basis of the information provided, NEF will allow the coordinator to generate a document named "Description of Work", with the following restrictions:
- The merge will be done only if you upload the Part B as a PDF file; the guidelines allow you to upload other kinds of documents, mainly to allow you to use track change facilities, but the final version of the narrative part must be a PDF file so the system can do the final merge of the document.
