The 2012 call for the Marie Curie Actions (MCA) individual fellowships is now closed. The Research Executive Agency (REA) in charge of implementing the MCA reports that interest in individual fellowships has risen significantly. A total of 6,158 proposals were received, an increase of about 12% compared to last year. To meet the rising number of applications, the budget for this 2012 call has also been increased by 10 Million Eur with respect to 2011 and is now 200 Million Eur.
