European Month of the Brain - Open your mind!
The European Commission organises two related conferences (Dublin and Brussels) linked to successes and challenges on European Brain Research for all interested stakeholders: scientists, laypeople, industry and patient representatives, policymakers and media.

MABFUEL Final Workshop
Supported by the European Union Framework Programme 7, under Marie Curie IAPP (Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways), the MABFUEL (Marine Algae as Biomass for bioFUEL) project has been a resounding success in bringing together researchers and businesses from Turkey and the island of Ireland to work on technologies for algal biofuel production. As the culmination of the project, MABFUEL is glad to announce its final workshop in Istanbul, Turkey on May 7th 2013.

Marie Curie Actions Road Show 2013
The Marie Curie Actions 2013 Road Show builds on the experiences with 2011 and 2012 Road Shows to support European researchers to move among high quality host institutions in Europe. The Road Show is planned as a series of info-days between March and May 2013 in the premises of research organisations in seven European countries. It aims to create a link between the researchers residing in or near these countries and the research institutions of the Road Show Network.

EU Science: Global Challenges, Global Collaboration Conference
The Marie Curie Actions will participate in the EU Science!

The European Parliament will host a five-day conference on “EU Science: Global Challenges, Global Collaboration” (ES:GC2), starting on 4 March 2013. The conference will bring together science policymakers, scientists and industry representatives from 100 different countries and will place EU research at the centre of the international response to global challenges. This five-day conference will take place at the European Parliament in Brussels.
