Three MSCA fellows working in the field of cultural heritage will present their projects and discuss their research with the visitors:
- Federica Bernardini Bressan from Italy explores the relationship between historical audio recordings and their digital representation within DaphNet. The project aims to restore and preserve multimedia artworks.
- Vasiliki Nikolakopoulou from Greece works in the area of e-preservation of cultural heritage within the project ITN-DCH. The project has recently joined the network establishing the first ever UNESCO Chair in Digital Cultural Heritage/Cultural Informatics.
- Enrico Sassoni comes from Italy. Within the project HAP4MARBLE he develops innovative treatments of marble to improve the conservation of marble artworks.
The three researchers will also take part at 16.30 in the Mini Citizens' Dialogue ‘Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellows: the avant-garde in protecting cultural heritage’ together with Sophie Beernaerts, Head of the MSCA Unit at the European Commission.
