An EU-funded project has set up a network of national policymakers and civil servants to advance gender equality in science, technology and innovation in the European Research Area (ERA). Europe will benefit as more women have the opportunity to contribute their skills to research and innovation.

A team of EU-funded researchers at Tallinn University is developing such an approach, combining methods, instruments and experts from educational sciences, cognitive psychology, human-computer interaction, media studies and learning analytics.

Dendritic cells are a type of white blood cell. By studying them, an EU-funded project aims to provide wider insights into the role of the immune system in the development of cancer. The insights provided by the project could eventually help researchers develop new ways to fight a range of cancers - helping to save lives.
