Nano Action Plan maps activity for EU and Member States
On 7 June 2005, the European Commission adopted an Action Plan that defines a series of linked actions for the immediate implementation of a safe, integrated and responsible strategy for nanosciences and nanotechnologies.
‘Nanosciences and nanotechnologies: An action plan for Europe 2005-2009’ (COM(2005) 243) sets out a series of concrete actions to be taken by the Commission and by EU Member States, based on the priority areas identified in the earlier Communication, ‘Towards a European Strategy for Nanotechnology’ COM(2004) 338 of May 2004.
