    • New valve increases oil recovery for better fuel security

This makes oil a costly and somewhat limited resource, placing Europe's fuel security at risk. The EU-funded REVIVAL project has improved and tested a valve that can significantly increase the recovery of oil from offshore and onshore wells and prolong their productive life.
