ELIXIR Founding Ceremony and Launch Event
18 December 2013, Brussels
ELIXIR's formal launch takes place in Bibliotheque Solvay, Brussels on 18 December 2013. The event will mark the ratification of the ELIXIR Consortium Agreement and the launch of ELIXIR as Europe's sustainable research infrastructure for biological data.
The Founding Ceremony and Launch event is by invitation only and prior registration is required.
EVS27 - World Electric Vehicles Symposium and Exhibition

The 27th Edition of the World Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exhibition is organized by AVELE, Spanish Association for the Promotion of Electric Vehicles and member of AVERE, and Fira de Barcelona, hosted by AVERE, the European Association for Battery, Hybrid and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles, the World Electric Vehicle Association, WEVA, and the City Council of Barcelona, in collaboration with EVAAP and EDTA.
The topics cover research and activities across all fields related to battery, hybrid and fuel cell electric vehicles, their infrastructure and components as well as topics related to market, business and public policies.
Industrial Biotechnology in UK and Ireland - Identifying Challenges and Opportunities

The BIO-TIC consortium wish to invite you to a free one-day workshop discussing issues surrounding the uptake of industrial biotechnology in the UK and Ireland. This is your chance to tell us where the hurdles lie and suggest ways in which they could be addressed. Your input will be crucial in helping us develop an action plan which best addresses the needs of UK and Irish stakeholders in this strategically important area. This workshop is one of a number of regional workshops being held throughout Europe as part of the BIO-TIC FP7 project, which aims to develop an integrated roadmap and action plan for the successful development of industrial biotechnology in Europe.
