KhAl-ERA Project: Opportunities for EU-Ukraine Cooperation in Composites Area

27-31 May 2013, Crimea, Ukraine

This session will be dedicated to the potential of Ukraine and Europe research partnership in area of composite materials in the frame of EU Programmes for Research and Technological Development (e.g. FP7, HORIZON 2020). Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about available collaboration possibilities and running international projects, and also you are welcome to present your own experience in this area.

EuroNanoForum 2013

EuroNanoForum 2013 focuses on the commercialisation of nanotechnologies, exploiting its potential for new applications and taking them further from enabling technologies to end products. It will also introduce the industry to new innovations for growth opportunities.

With Horizon2020 beginning in 2014, the conference will also show how nanotechnologies fit into the new structure within Europe’s key priority areas of excellent science, industrial leadership and tackling societal challenges.

3rd International EASN Association Workshop, on Aerostructures

9-11 October 2013, Milano, Italy

In the frame of EASN knowledge and innovation dissemination activities, this Workshop organized by the EASN Association offers the Aeronautics community a forum to present, discuss and give an updated state of the art of the research in Aerostructures in Europe and also to present new ideas and innovative concepts for future research and projects. The Workshop is co-organized by Politecnico di Milano and will take place in the Bovisa Campus of the Politecnico di Milano.

HERMES International Collaboration on Transportation Research Workshop

25-26 April 2013, Paris, France

The EU funded HERMES project is organising an international workshop in Paris on April 25th and 26th 2013. The workshop is aimed at identifying the opportunities for closer cross border collaboration in transportation research and explore with the policies and measures that should be in place to enable the creation of a truly international collaborative transportation research network.

Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda and Clean Sky Info day

6 March 2013, CDTI, Madrid

The Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) is the new roadmap for aviation research, development and innovation, that will outline the main threads of technical, operational and strategic actions to achieve the ambitious goals set by Flightpath 2050 (Europe’s vision for Aviation beyond 2020). The Advisory Council for Aeronautics Research and Innovation in Europe (ACARE) is developing the SRIA through the involvement and consultation of major aeronautics and air transport stakeholders.
