The third General Assembly of SNETP (Sustainable Nuclear Energy Technology Platform) will take place in Warsaw on November 29 & 30, 2011, hosted by the Polish Ministry of Economy.
The aim of this event is to bring together the member organisations representing the various stakeholders of nuclear fission research. As for previous editions, the event is open to the public and external stakeholders, including representatives of European institutions and Member States, as well as journalists from specialised press.

In order to support the preparation of proposals, the Directorates General for Research & Innovation, Information Society and Media, Energy, and for Mobility and Transport of the European Commission are holding Joint Information Days on Research PPPs on 11+12 July 2011 in the Charlemagne building, rue de la Loi 170, in Brussels.

A number of energy related Calls for Proposals under FP7 are planned to be published on 20 July 2011.
In addition, the Joint Technology Initiative on Fuel Cells and Hydrogen (JU FCH) has published its 4th call on 3 May 2011.
The Information Day will address these calls and provide guidance on how to participate.

The conference is aimed at anyone interested in the development of the next Strategic Framework Programme for Research and Innovation of the European Union. Stakeholders from research institutions, industry, universities, non-governmental organisations, scientists and politicians are especially invited to take part in making EU funding more attractive and easier to access for participants.
The conference will feature high-level speakers from the European Commission, science organisations, universities, entrepreneurs and governments from across Europe and beyond.
