Africa Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition 2014

27-29 March 2014, Durban, South Africa

AfricaPVSEC is a new initiative partnering EU PVSEC and SNEC for promotion and exchange in the photovoltaic solar energy sector and bringing together leading experts, researchers, public authorities, representatives of international organizations, donors, NGOs. It aims to improve Africa's position on the global PV-map and focuses, amongst other, on the extension and development of solar PV in Africa, the increased potential for exploitation and use of solar photovoltaic and on the transfer of appropriate technologies to the African context. The conference programme is supported and coordinated by the European Commission, DG Joint Research Centre.

Greener Aviation: Clean Sky breakthroughs and worldwide status

12-14 March 2014, Brussels, Belgium

The purpose of the conference "Greener Air" is to display and discuss Clean Sky achievements with experts in all disciplines. In parallel, other worldwide programmes focusing on environment and fuel savings will be presented. The programme will comprise plenary as well as technical sessions.

Important: Deadline for contributing Abstracts is set to 30 October 2013.



SMART CITIES

5-7 March 2014, Sofia, Bulgaria

The first South-East European Smart Cities event will focus exclusively on Intelligent Energy, Intelligent Mobility & Transport, Intelligent Emergencies Management and ICT, Intelligent Waste Management. Smart Cities Exhibition and Conference are the logical successor of Smart Buildings Expo 2013. The event will be held in parallel to the 10th Forum and Exhibition on Energy Efficiency & Renewable Energy and Waste Management & Recycling.

10th Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Forum and Exhibition for South-East Europe

5-7 March 2014, Sofia, Bulgaria

The EE & RE Forum and Exhibition corresponds to the world trends and presents latest energy efficient solutions, systems for energy storage, technologies for the production of bio-, hydro, solar, geothermal and wind energy, energy from waste and electric vehicle innovation. The event will bring together for the 10th year in a row all relevant players from the Region: from the energy sector, grid operators and utilities, building industry, finance and state administration.
