"ICT for sustainable places" conference

9-11 September 2013, Nice

The "ICT for sustainable places" conference and exhibition will be organized from September 9 to 11, 2013 in Nice (France) by the RESILIENT FP7 project.

This international conference and exhibition, benefitting from the support of the European Commission and the European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP/E2BA) is meant to be an open research forum, offering a key opportunity to manufacturers, service providers, research laboratories, standard development organizations, urban planners, etc. to meet and network, share information, assess outcomes from the most advanced projects, discuss possible synergies, envision possible standards evolution, etc. The event particularly aims at fostering collaborations between FP7 projects involved at the crossroads of ICT, energy and construction, addressing sustainability and energy efficiency at building, district, and city levels. Parallel workshops on Energy Efficient Building (eeB) will be organized under the aegis of the European Commission on the occasion.


Environment and Health – Bridging South, North, East and West

The ISEE (International Society for Environmental Epidemiology), ISES (International Society of Exposure Science), and the ISIAQ (International Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate) invite you to the 2013 conference in Basel, hosted by the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (SwissTPH).

The conference aims at presenting recent scientific achievements in the field of exposure science and environmental health from all relevant disciplines and covering a broad range of topics.

It is the place where scientists from all continents will meet. This is the first-ever joint conference of three leading scientific societies dedicated to improving public health.

2nd OpenChina-ICT Thematic Workshop on Internet of Things and Future Internet

The OpenChina-ICT project, supported by the European Commission (DG CONNECT) through its FP7 research-funding programme, aims at significantly contributing to the facilitation of ICT related research cooperation between Europe and China. The 2nd OpenChina-ICT Thematic Workshop on Internet of Things and Future Internet will be held on August 23, 2013 at Park Plaza Hotel in Beijing Science Park in co-location with iThings2013 (http://china-iot.net/iThings2013.htm) organised by IEEE from August 20-23. The draft agenda has been released featuring the participation of Chinese and European Experts from the EU-China IoT Advisory Group as well as EU-China FP7 projects specialised on IoT and Future Internet.
