E-MOBILITY IN NORTHWEST EUROPE - BEST PRACTISE AND FUTURE PERSPECTIVES

25 September 2013, Brussels, Belgium

European Network of Electric Vehicles and Transferring Expertise (ENEVATE), the Final Conference on the 25th & 26th of September 2013 in Brussels.

You are invited to attend the Conference day (on the 26th of September in the Diamant Center, Brussels) for public policy makers in Europe, its countries, regions and cities, for stakeholders in the electric vehicle industry as well as for experts in research and education. There is also opportunity to join the Welcome Reception (on the 25th of September) which will be hosted in the EU parliament building. An excellent opportunity for networking in an environment which underlines the need for joint and synchronized action by public policy makers throughout the EU, the automotive industry and the energy sector.

 Integral to the conference will be a number of workshops, where you are encouraged to participate in the development of future EU project proposals, which build on the results of ENEVATE, to further stimulate the uptake of e-mobility.

Industrial Biotechnology in Spain. Identifying Hurdles and Opportunities

The BIO-TIC consortium wish to invite you to a free one-day workshop discussing issues surrounding the uptake of industrial biotechnology in Spain.For Spain to grow and develop its industrial biotechnology base, it will be vital to access EU funding for research and innovation activities.
This is your chance to tell us where the hurdles lie and suggest ways in which they could be addressed. Your input will be crucial in helping us develop an action plan which best addresses the needs of Spanish stakeholders in this strategically important area. This workshop is one of a number of regional workshops being held throughout Europe as part of the BIO-TIC FP7 project, which aims to develop an integrated roadmap and action plan for the successful development of industrial biotechnology in Europe.

Regional Innovation Capability and Technology Transfer in Biotechnology Clusters

19-20 September 2013, Kientzheim, Alsace, France

International symposium on the international technology transfer of healthcare biotech applications and on technological, legal and other hurdles which can impede easy transfers. This two half-day event will focus on French and Japanese experiences.
Day 1 will showcase red biotech applications. Day 2 will address current problems and future orientations, with Japanese and French academics leading the discussion of developments in biotech clusters.
