The OpenChina-ICT Final Conference
5 November 2013, Vilnius, Lithuania
The OpenChina-ICT project, supported by the European Commission (DG CONNECT) through its FP7 research-funding programme, aims at significantly contributing to the facilitation of ICT related research cooperation between Europe and China. The project will organise its Final Conference on strengthening cooperation in ICT research between Europe and China. This event will be held on November 5, 2013 at the Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva in Vilnius, Lithuania, the day before the launch of ICT 2013, representing the major European event dedicated to ICT research and innovation and organised by the European Commission from November 6-8, 2013. The conference objective is to (i) bring together policy and research stakeholders from Europe and China, (ii) present the final project outcomes, (iii) evaluate new ways to promote scientific cooperation in ICT research and (iv) provide recommendations towards more effective funding and more fruitful cooperation programs between the two regions in the framework of the new research funding programme Horizon 2020. PROSUITE Final Conference

PROSUITE is an EU Integrating project for PROspective SUstaInability Assessment of TEchnologies. We combine technology forecasting methods with life cycle approaches, to integrate economic, environmental and social sustainability dimensions in a standardized, comprehensive, and broadly accepted way. 3rd European Energy Conference (E2C 2013)

The topics of the 3rd European Energy Conference (E2C 2013) will cover chemistry, physics and material sciences related to energy technologies. To harness safely and efficiently the energy of the Sun both directly and indirectly, as well as the nuclear and thermonuclear power generation are in the centre of the conference programme. Energy storage in chemical and other forms, hydrogen infrastructure and energy transfer by photosynthesis will also be discussed. The aim of the conference is to lead to effective and fruitful communication between the research, government and industrial communities for a more sustainable and efficient European energy policy.
The conference will be attendend also by Robert-Jan Smits, European Commission, DG Research and Innovation, Romana Jordan, MEP and Pál Kovacs, Hungarian State Secretary.
2013 NEM Summit

The NEM Summit, organised every year since 2008 by the NEM Initiative in close cooperation with leading industrial and academic players worldwide, is the “not-to-be-missed” annual event for all those interested in Future Internet developments and in the fast paced evolution of the networked and electronic media industry.
Over the years, the NEM Summit has grown to become the key conference and exhibition to meet and network with the most active stakeholders, access up-to-date information, discover the latest technology and market trends, identify research and business opportunities, and find partners for upcoming EU-funded calls. The event traditionally involves up to 400 attendees, 20 sponsors, 50 exhibitors and 40 speakers and authors selected following a competitive call for papers.
