In accordance with the Guiding Principles for National Contact Points and complementary to the support function of the ETNA project, the Annual Transport NCPs Meeting will provide detailed information on the open calls and recent developments in the European Transport Policies, relevant for the NCPs. The ARGOMARINE project has developed and tested an integrated system for monitoring the marine traffic and pollution events due to carriers/commercial ships as well as recreational boats through environmental-sensitive sea areas.
At this final event the ARGOMARINE researchers will present the new developed strategies and technologies to ensure safety of navigation in the Mediterranean basin.

This year’s conference will focus on “Smart Freight to enable sustainable logistics solutions” and will highlight innovations and applications in this area. The conference aims to close the gap between research and innovation and the logistics industry, moving research results into real world innovation and driving the competitiveness of European companies in the transport logistics sector. This year’s ECITL features an academic session on Wednesday and a two-day industrial session on Thursday and Friday.
