11-12 September 2012, Borås, Sweden
SARTRE (Safe Road Trains for the Environment) aims to encourage a step change in personal transport usage through the development of safe environmental road trains, or 'platoons': a convoy of vehicles where a professional driver in a lead vehicle drives a line of other vehicles. All vehicles are totally detached and can leave the convoy at any time. Once in the platoon, drivers can relax and do other things while the platoon proceeds towards its long haul destination. This final workshop will include a demonstration of platooning with five vehicles on a test track, a simulator and other project results, as well as host stakeholder discussions.
7-10 September 2012, Beijing and Shanghai, China

Furthermore participants will have the opportunity to experience live demonstrations and technical visits.
