Four demonstrators were set up to support the development of intermodality in Europe, looking for the right balance between geographical locations, existing infrastructures, local characteristics, natural barriers, hinterland penetration and environmental protection

Viajeo Final Workshop: Beijing and Shanghai Demo Site Results

The Viajeo project is a three year project, aiming at the development, implementation and demonstration of an open platform for traffic data collection and traveller information services. These workshops (on 7 September in Beijing and on 10 September in Shanghai) are aimed at presenting the technical achievements of the activities of the Viajeo project in Beijing and Shanghai; and discussing the exploitation of the Viajeo results. Furthermore participants will have the opportunity to experience live demonstrations and technical visits.

Technology Roadmap for Small Aircraft Transport Mode

Inter-regional mobility using small aircraft could offer socio economic benefits and time saving for businesses. This research project explored how small aircraft operations can become part of the air transport system, studying - among other things - technological requirements and safety aspects.
During the workshop, a Technology Roadmap to implement the Common Vision for Small Aircraft Transport (SAT) in practice will be discussed.
