The Future is Calling – Flagship Research for Europe
16 October 2018, Brussels, Belgium
Robotics, Health, Environment, Energy – the progress in all of these research fields will strongly shape our common future: driving the development of future generations of robots helps to ensure they will truly benefit society in a sustainable way; understanding human cells during disease could revolutionize healthcare. We want to share the scientific ideas of tomorrow and beyond with you!
Our examples also provide insights into the potential of European research collaboration.
What could realistically be achieved in the next ten years with concerted efforts? At the same time it still needs to be discussed how large-scale projects should be set up under Horizon Europe: Is it necessary to differentiate between FET Flagships and Missions or are the concepts easily interchangeable?
The aim is clear – to develop these visionary approaches in the best way possible.
