8 March 2017, San Sebastian, Spain
The European Commission DG for Research & Innovation and the government of the Basque Country co-organised a workshop during the NANOSPAIN 2017 week, to show-case several pilot projects to stakeholders from industry (medium and large companies, SMEs and start-ups), private investors and other key stakeholders.
More than 70 participants representing pilot project coordinators, SMEs, regional authorities and other relevant stakeholders gathered in San Sebastian on the 8th of March 2017.
The objective of the workshop was to to show-case relevant pilot projects and discuss the ways to engage industry, SMES, public and private investors in dialogue with the consortia that have running Horizon pilot lines projects in the area of Nanotechnology and advanced materials. .
This workshop gave the participants the opportunity to discuss in more details the following issues:

•How to foster open innovation by facilitating the access to SMEs to the pilot lines
•How the European Pilot Production Network could support the pilot lines to address common challenges
