This side event at this year's Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) will showcase examples of successful EU-Africa scientific cooperation in the field of climate change. Held at the EU Pavilion, it will focus on best practices, challenges and opportunities for development of capacities for climate change research in Africa.
