INDO-MARECLIM Winter School on Climate Change and Variability, Marine Ecosystems and Coastal Zone MA

INDO-MARECLIM announces a one-week winter school to be held at Bolgatty Palace and Island Resort, Kochi (India) from 2 to 7 November 2013. During the winter school, which is an inter-disciplinary training programme, a select group of instructors from India and Europe will provide lectures and practical training on recent advancements in the global understanding of marine ecosystems, climate change and their socio-economic impacts. Applications welcome from EU and Indian PhD students, post doctoral fellows and scientists in early stages of career development. The maximum number of participants is restricted to 35. Selection would be on the basis of academic skills, qualification in the relevant subjects, statement of interest and letters of support.
