The conference, which is free, will present the results of MIC, which is an EU-funded project (7th Framework Programme) exploring the use of shared virtual environments as part of a public discussion on the issues involved in building the city of the future.
The project involves four science museums – Trento, Lisbon, Copenhagen and Jerusalem – and the IUAV University of Venice, with its Me.La. Multimedia Laboratory, which was responsible for the artistic coordination and implementation of part of the virtual environments.
