Q: For ERC Grant schemes: My research project involves two host institutions. How can I submit my proposal?
A: The applicant should choose the main host institution based on his/her own preferences and/or employment situation. For the main host institution (applicant legal entity), the administrative details in form A2 must be provided. For the second host institution (other participant/legal entity) a second A2 form should be filled in. The commitment letter of the host institution is formally required only from the main host but it is possible to include a second commitment letter from the other host institution, which can be uploaded as annex (supporting document). In addition, any involvement of an additional legal entity needs to be properly addressed and justified in part B of the proposal. For more information, please refer to the ERC Work Programme (available at URL: http://erc.europa.eu/pdf/l-wp-201101_en.pdf), or the relevant ERC Guide for Applicants.
