Q: The question is related to the topic NMP.2010.2.5-1 Modelling of degradation and reliability of crystalline materials. We want to study and model certain degradation of advanced metal alloys as a result of wear (tribological problems). Metals are crystalline materials, but should degradation be a result of the crystalline structure.
A: Metals are crystalline materials and, therefore, fit perfectly within scope of the call.
