Q: Why are management activities also listed in the category "Other" activities?
A: Management activities are divided into two categories: 1) management which can be carried out by any partner (listed in Article II.16.5 of the FP7 model grant agreement - this includes costs of certificates); 2) management tasks that must be carried out by the coordinator (listed in Article II.2 of the FP7 model grant agreement). In both cases, costs are charged under the activity "Other". In the grant agreement, we refer to "Other" activities to differentiate them from "RTD" activities. Other activities may reach a maximum of 100% of the total eligible costs and also cover management and training activities. In the proposal forms and grant preparation forms (the A3 forms), these activities are split.
