Q: Multidisciplinary proposals addressing several topics may be submitted, provided that the 'centre of gravity' lies in a topic or topics open in the call in question. I do not know how the application of a multidisciplinary approach could be organised for calls with different deadlines. If I would like to apply for a project with focus on areas which cover two topics, would an application for to one call still be considered if there are elements in it from another call?
A: As mentioned in the Guides for Applicants, multidisciplinary proposals addressing several topics may be submitted, provided that the ‘centre of gravity’ lies in a topic or topics open in the call in question. This means you can submit a multidisciplinary proposal under FP7-ENERGY provided that your proposal can show that the main focus is on a topic(s) open in this call.
