Q: What is the Full cost model (FC) in FP6?
A: The Full Cost model (FC) is the standard cost reporting model for contractors in FP6. The other cost models (FCF, AC) are derivates of this model, which can be used only by certain types of contractors. In the FC model, all eligible real direct and indirect costs are charged by the contractors. The maximum reimbursement rates are determined by the type of activities: for research and technological development activities up to 50% of eligible costs, for training activities up to 100% of eligible costs, for management of the consortium activities up to 100% of eligible costs (but up to a maximum 7% of the total Community financial contribution). All legal entities can use the FC model with the exception of physical persons.
