Q: NMP-2010.3.1-1. "New industrial models for a sustainable and efficient production" (SMALL) - The workprogramme mentions the "analysing, modelling and matching the product's perceived features ..." and later refers to "design of products". Does "design of products" also include aesthetic design or is it limited to functional design of the product ?
A: The concept of "design of product" includes of course the functional aspects objectively perceived by the users/customers and other elements (including aesthetic) which are subjectively perceived (consciously or un-consciously) by the customers.
