Q: ERC - Does interest generated during the reporting periods and not at the pre-financing level have to be declared as earnings?
A: Only for the grant agreements signed until 31 December 2012: For each project the Host Institution/beneficiary receives one single pre-financing payment. Interest generated on the pre-financing on the account to which it was transferred has to be reported for this single pre-financing only until the amount is consumed by incurred eligible project costs. For any later interim payments or the final payment no interest is due.
