Q: ERC - If an applicant is eligible for resubmission of her/his proposal, should (s)he state in the application that this is a resubmission and if so, where should this be indicated?
A: Every proposal submission is considered a new proposal. Therefore, proposals submitted to previous calls are not taken into account during the peer review evaluation. The applicant may take up the recommendations mentioned in an Evaluation Report of a previously submitted proposal when submitting a new proposal; however, the panel is not bound by the previous evaluations and will be composed of other experts. Each proposal is assessed solely on the material submitted for the specific call to which it has been submitted.Whether the applicant wants to explicitly refer to the previous proposal in his/her presentation of the new proposal is a matter of consideration by the applicant him/herself.?
