Q: (First stage): 1) Could the Section 1.3 S/T methodology and associated plan - WP table, - Gantt plot, - Flow Chart- list of deliverables and list of milestones be seen as OPTIONAL in Stage 1. If they can fit into the 10pgs limit? 2) Must ethical issues be addressed at stage 1 - it is not quite clear in the guidelines 3) Implementation section - it says requested for stage 2 only. However, what about "2.3 Consortium as a whole" - shall this be written at stage 1 and if yes must it be included in the 10 pgs limit ? 4) Further to Q 3: in Call fiche it says "2 additional pages to describe the consortium and the estimated financial resources involved" and in the Guide for applicants FP7-NMP-2007-SMALL-1 it seems from section "6 Partnership and Budget" that only table 1 Partnership and Table 2 estimated budget are necessary. Is it necessary to give a verbal description of the partnership/consortium or are the tables 1 & 2 enough ?
A: 1. At stage 1, you only have to provide an overview of the work plan under section 1.3. Tables, such as those mentioned for Stage 2 proposals, work package descriptions and deliverables lists are not necessary until Stage 2. Tables such as those mentioned for Stage 2 proposals may be used if desired but will be counted as part of the 10 pages. 2. You do not need to go into detail or fill in the table on ethical issues for Stage 1. However, if there are some ethical issues that your consider to be important to the project, they should be mentioned. 3. You do not need to fill in section 2.3 at Stage 1.4. For Stage 1, you just need to supply the two tables on partnership and budget in part 6., as mentioned in annex 4. of the Guide for applicants.
