Q: Is it eligible for the programme to finance short stays in order to access research infrastructures (COFUND)?

A: Any length of stay is in principle eligible; however its appropriateness will be assessed during evaluation on the grounds of its benefit to the training/career development of the selected researchers. Concerning access to research infrastructure, it should be noted that the specific training/career development objective will be assessed (i.e. it is not sufficient to just make an infrastructure available to researchers requiring access or time on such facilities for a research project on which they are currently working).
