Bryan Hanley - What are your main concerns for the future?
I'm a scientist and so one of my concerns,is that in lots of places, there's a confusion between price and value. And we try to put a price on everything and on our science and that means it become very short term but we don't put a value on it, we don't think how valuable this is to the community as a whole and that means that, particularly young people, are not inspired by doing science. They think science is just a way of doing something which ticks boxes but it's very difficult to get young people inspired that's the fear that I have : in the future, we're not going to have young inspired people becoming the inspiration for others.
