From a scientific point of view, I think it is possibly one of the best programs. More generally, the European Community programs bring a very important added-value because they bring together scientists, disciplines, environments, which is impossible to do with national fundings. It also help bridging the gaP between richer nations which invest much more in research and other nations we do not invest in research.
