The conference was aimed at anyone interested in the development of the next Framework Programme for Research and Innovation of the European Union. Stakeholders from research institutions, industry, universities, non-governmental organisations, scientists and politicians were invited to take part in making EU funding more attractive and easier to access for participants.
The conference featured high-level speakers from the European Commission, science organisations, universities, entrepreneurs and governments from across Europe and beyond.
What was presented?
The conference wrapped up the public consultation on the Green Paper, presented the results and gave the stakeholder community an opportunity to discuss them. It focused on how best to support research and innovation for the future of Europe. Leading industrialists, researchers and politicians highlighted the critical importance for research and innovation as a major component of the next EU budget.
Stakeholder meeting on a Common Strategic Framework for EU research and innovation funding
The Commission is organising a Stakeholder meeting in Brussels to present and discuss the future Common Strategic Framework for EU research and innovation funding. The meeting will be streamed live on the web in order to get the widest audience possible.
