The aim of the symposium is to address major bottlenecks in vaccine research with a focus on vaccine design while showcasing European activities and results in HIV vaccine research that contribute to the global efforts towards the development of an effective HIV vaccine.
The outcome of the discussions will contribute to the priorities setting in HIV vaccine research in the contest of Horizon 2020, the EU programme for research and innovation.
First International Rare Diseases Research Consortium Conference
16 - 17 April 2013
The first IRDiRC Conference was held in Dublin, Ireland on 16-17 April 2013 and was organised by the European Commission in association with the Irish Presidency of the European Union.
The conference aimed to gather stakeholders active in the rare disease area from across the globe. In addition to a top-level programme taking stock of advances toward IRDiRC goals, it provided ample opportunities to network with the international rare disease community.
