MYOAGE workshop, The aging human muscle: An integrated machinery

The last MYOAGE workshop, The aging human muscle: An integrated machinery will be organised in Copenhagen, Denmark by Pr. Bente Pedersen and Pr. Michael Kjaer on August 30th and 31st, 2012.
This event will be the last workshop organized in the frame of the large scale collaborative project MYOAGE (www.myoage.eu) as part of its training and dissemination activities.
MYOAGE is supported by the 7th Framework Program of the European Commission, it gathers 20 teams from 18 institutions dedicated to understand and combat age related muscle weakness.
The workshop is especially dedicated to Ph.D. students and post-docs. The workshop will address the following topics:
- Muscle, senescence and life span
- Muscle secretome
- Mechanisms in loss of muscle mass and function with ageing.
- Skeletal muscle loss and function: Inside and outside the muscle
