Irish Conference on Survivorship after Cancer during Childhood and Adolescence, coorganised by PanCareSurFup

Dublin, Ireland, 26 November 2011

PanCareSurFup project is coorganising the first Irish Conference on Survivorship after Cancer during Childhood and Adolescence, a chance for survivors and their families to meet with medical specialists, paediatric oncologists, paediatricians, family practitioners, epidemiologists, and representatives of the Department of Health to discuss issues in long-term care of survivors of cancer.

The conference aims to: raise awareness in Ireland around issues of survivorship after cancer during childhood and adolescence, inform survivors, their families, the health services and medical personnel about long-term risks associated with cancer treatment, help cancer survivors and their families establish networks for mutual help and support and influence public policy decisions about childhood cancer survivorship
