CEO, ENKAM (DK)
Morten started his first company in the early 80s and is now a seasoned entrepreneur
with a strong medical, commercial and financial background. He has worked in most
therapeutic areas and with both drugs and devices.
Morten has worked internationally
and with sales through partners, affiliates and direct to patients, hospitals and end users.
He has the last 15 years worked with all sort of deal.
Morten is currently part-time CEO in Enkam A/S (peptide based regenerative treatments
of CNS disorders).
Enkam was awarded a EUR 6 million grant in 2011 focused on
developing Enkam's lead compound for treatment of Alzheimer's disease to a phase IIa
proof-of-concept clinical study.
Morten is also working for a national incubator (Accelerate) with the objective to develop
more high growth companies. Part of this work is setting up the structure and investment
strategy for a newly granted seed fond.
