Stefan Nardi-Hiebl studied Computer Science at the University of Applied Science Regensburg and obtained a post-graduate Masters degree in Management with Focus on Healthcare from the London School of Economics and Political Science as well as an Executive MBA from the European School of Management and Technology. Prior his studies he accomplished an apprenticeship as a paramedic.
In 1998, he became Project Manager for a research project for Telemetric Technologies in Disaster Medicine and Civil Defense at the University of Regensburg. In 2000 he joined Siemens with various functions in Healthcare and Seed Capital Finance. In 2005 he joined Siemens Healthcare Consulting specializing in Strategy Development and Economics. In this period he led several health-economic studies for a pharmaceutical client in Germany, Netherlands, Sweden and Finland. From 2007 to 2008 he supported the set-up of Siemens Healthcare Consulting in the United States and was in charge of Health Economics and Strategy projects. In 2009 he has been promoted to Head of the Practice Group Clinical Advisory. His responsibilities included serving clients on the hospital, regional and national level to improve the medical and economic outcome, developing methods and tools to assess the impact of changing factors in Healthcare and acting as an advisor for the Siemens Top Management in regard to such questions. Since October 1, 2010 he is leading Siemens Healthcare Consulting.
He co-authored several articles about health economic studies in cooperation with the pharmaceutical industry.
