- Cooperation with SMEs to Improve Health Services ( 3.25 MB)
Trustech is the innovation gateway to the National Health Service in NorthWest England representing over 60 organisations serving 6.7 million people. Services support the spin-out of innovations developed within the NHS through partnerships, licensing or sharing good practice. Two case studies are shown. They also provide access to clinical expertise for third parties, primarily SMEs and RTOs to help with product development and trialling innovations within a clinical environment. The drivers are to develop better interventions for patients, better resources and practice for clinicians and better business models and infrastructures at an organisational level. Trustech are using European projects to develop and share good practice and actively seeking new partnerships in Europe.
