The event was a great success and has provided much food for thought. The included report summarizes the key points discussed, issues raised and challenges highlighted. In particular it focuses on the recommendations of the expert panels and on solutions proposed.

This report is intended to capture and crystallize the key outcomes of the meeting, the recommendations and proposals made so that these may be reviewed and taken into account in policy discussions within the European Commission for the development of Europe 2020 Innovation Union Flagship and for the future of European Research with particular attention to Healthcare.
