Q: Can a new fellow be recruited if a researcher under initial training terminates their contract prematurely? (All Calls)
A: Yes provided all the eligibility criteria are met. When a fellow leaves the network the remaining budgeted person-months can also be reallocated among the remaining researchers provided they do not exceed the allowed maximum duration of 36 months for and ESR and 24 months for an ER. In addition the 40% rule for the contribution to any one country and the 80% for the minimum percentage of ESR months must be respected. The Project Officer must agree to any planned change.
